- Our Purpose
In scripture Jesus tells us not to throw a banquet for the rich or family and friends. Instead he suggests we throw a banquet for those who cannot repay us, for our reward will be given to us in heaven.
This is The Great Banquet. It is a night to honor those with special needs in our community and at no cost to our honored guests. They will walk the red carpet, enjoy an elegant dining experience and dancing. Our goal is to break down barriers and bring awareness to the community.
This is a special banquet where everyone is invited and whether you are an honored guest, volunteer or sponsor there is a place for you at the table!
Inclusion Ministry
A community that excludes one member is no community at all.

The Inclusion Ministry is a group at Crossroads East Side that meets weekly and monthly serving teens and adults with special needs.
Our ministry begins in the church.
We come alongside families impacted by disabilities:

sharing the message of the Gospel in a language for all to understand

Capernaum Young Life
...that they may have life, and have it to the full.

Young Life Capernaum is a ministry for middle and high school students with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This ministry gives these individuals the chance to experience fun and adventure, to develop fulfilling friendships and to challenge their limits while building self-esteem through club, camp and other exciting activities. Southeast Cincinnati Young Life offers the Capernaum ministry and they would love to connect with middle and high school students.
Every life has value and purpose. Every life is a gift from God. Hundreds will join us for the banquet and many will leave changed forever, eyes open and hearts full because they have found their seat at the table. Let’s unite as a city and bring the kingdom of heaven here to Cincinnati. We may be starting on the east side of Cincinnati, but this is only the beginning and we will not stop until we have inspired everyone in the city.
The OneCity Foundation is the fiscal sponsor of The Great Banquet. The Inclusion Ministry and Capernaum Ministry have partnered to plan and organize this event. We are inviting local churches, businesses and organizations in the community to join us as we celebrate those in the community with special needs.
